Make Your Own Website – Use New Versatile Theme
Wow I could hardly wait for this theme. I have built a lot of websites and am always struggling to find a Theme that will work for me, that allows me to have my own header, and background, so was so excited when I got this back from my outsourcer.
Here are some of the Features of The New WordPress Versatile Theme:
- Complete Control of what goes in the Menu Bar
- Change to choice of 5 colours
- Change background colour to whatever you want
- Have Widgets either on right or left
- Have Older Posts sign top or bottom
- Turn Tags on or off
- Add your own header to whatever size you want
- Add background picture
- Neat and tidy Posts
- Widget Boxs all in separate boxes
and…. drum roll please………. all widget boxes have a centre-ing feature… so everything should be centred automatically!
As I said, I am so excited to have a theme called Versatile, that is just that … Versatile.

It is so easy now to Build your own Website. In another Blog Post Called Build A Website in 20 Minutes I show you how to build your site quickly and now you have this amazing Theme to use and make your site stand out from the rest.
It’s all too easy nowadays 
with so many options you really should be able to build a website in 20 minutes and then using my Versatile theme be able to change your site to look like one you created – not an out of the box one that looks like everyone else’s.

Most important to remember is that you MUST UPGRADE TO WORDPRESS 3 before you use this theme… it is not backwards compatible.

Thanks so much for sharing, your video was really easy to follow and I’ll give it a go, I have my blog, on wordpress at present and with everyone saying wordpress is the way to go for website as well. http://joythomson.wordpress.com . I just have to figure out how to get my blog linked to my parked domain name…
I just searched for the ‘Versatile’ theme on WP but couldn’t find it, am I looking with my boy eyes?

I have just noticed that the videos which are automatically coming in, are not showing on the menu page for “videos” on a new website I am making. They are showing on the home page though. Am using wp video tube plugin.
What have I done wrong?

Hiya, the videos on auto will only ever come into yur blog posts not a separate page. So to have a page setup means you have to bring them in manually.

I’m guessing you need a plugin? I’m a WP newbie…and don’t fully understanf it all yet, and because it seems everyone is going the way of WP…I need to keep up!

hmmmm well thats another lesson, basically you dont have anything on it except a video or whatever you want on it, and make the first page a static page rather than a post page…

Have loaded the versatile theme but there are only 4 widget areas in the sidebar . Taking this site for example you have multiple side bar widget areas with offers inside . It doesnt seem possible to do this with this new theme.

I download the theme and making it work for my site as well.
I would like to include a “leave and comment” section on my pages but the plug ins I try don’t work. Can you recommend one that I can use for your theme
