How to Schedule Facebook Posts

How to Schedule Facebook Posts

This is such a cool feature, I am wondering if any of you know How to Schedule Facebook Posts.
We have been using the same feature on wordpress for years so when this came out I was over the moon. It is so cool if you are going away on holiday or whatever the reason, to be able to go ahead and schedule a whole lot of posts and get them out there.

Of course you still have to go in and answer or respond but it is just easier than having to remember through the day to go and post on Facebook. If you have a lot of pages this is also a very handy tool .

I show everything in the video so take a look at  How to Schedule Facebook Posts.

I also talk to you about the 80/20 rule. It’s funny how one can apply that rule to so many things in life.

So on your Facebook profile you can use the 80/20 in that as its a personal profile you should be 80% all about you, work, hobbies, trips or whatever family stuff and 20% business, that would be affiliate programs or Network marketing or your own offline business. Of course it’s the other way round on your business/fanpage.

Some people just like to sell you over and over and if you are like me that just rattles your cage :-)

If you do this right you will have a great following, people will love you for giving great content and also for making them laugh. It’s a win win isn’t it.

If this was helpful please share, or write a comment or something…. help me out here I want a great ranking for my page lol

  1. Great Advice as usual Gail. I’m just wondering do you find a lot of new leads through social media? I have had some success with facebook and linkedin but then again I don’t use social media regularly. Would you suggest that it would be worth devoting a good amount of time to it? Thanks

  2. Hi Matt,
I get lots of leads through different social media, Facebook, Stumbleupon, twitter… they are the good one for me. I dont get much from linked in but then I dont do anything there to deserve. I just auto post there.
    Hope that helps

  3. This will come in handy as on my websites page I try to do a quote of the day daily (it gets me new like too) but its so tedious that I don’t do it enough. Now when I get 10 free minutes I can schedule the QOTD for a week or 2! Speaking of, do you do daily quotes on your page Gail?

  4. Hi Ryan, I do a mixture of things on my page. quotes, videos blog posts from both myself and others in industry plus I also do blog curation which also brings in lots of content.
    thanks for taking part :-)

  5. Will this work with pictures, like can I schedule pictures? Leave for Hawaii in 2 weeks, and won’t be able to get on facebook, but went through google images to find a nice serene hawaiin beach photo at sunset. Want to post it at a certain time while I am there with a “Wish you were here”. LOL

  6. I use it for pictures, videos whatever as long as its a post it does not matter… so go for it, enjoy

  7. I know everyone gets bored and rants about work. I prefer 95/5 though. Sorry call me a guy, but I don’t want to listen to others work related problems, I got my own work related problems to deal with. Also end up defriending the losers that link their website nonstop, or ghost flag me in a photo so it shows up on my wall. My page is ment to keep up with friends and say what I am doing! So no 80/20!

  8. lol ok Bill… we can do whatever we want, its our wall isn’t it…
Have to say I don’t get too much posted on my wall but I have been known to unfriend some people quickly when they have annoyed me :-)

  9. Melanie says:

This is great for facebook and I see it helping business pages. As I know my boss goes crazy on us to always keep posting new stuff to facebook, to keep it active. Now they need to come up with an auto poster that post links and stuff to related keywords every few hours!

  10. This will work great for me, now i can schedule post through wordpress and schedule a facebook post on my page to share the post when its published!

  11. Can’t wait to do this now, I like keeping a new post always upo that ask a question. So peoples will respond, creates page activity.

  12. thanks Melanie for your comment, it is a great time saver, I know you have to take the time to set it up but once done its done… thats just part of business :-)

  13. there you go, all this auotmation :-)
    thanks for commenting

  14. Yes great idea Trina, always good to have open questions..

  15. OK, I had no idea you could schedule posts in Facebook. About time too. It’s been possible on Twitter for a good while. So glad it can now be done on Facebook, especially as I tend to use Facebook more than I use Twitter nowadays. Schweet!

  16. I’m not an expert when it comes to social media, but I’ve recently gotten a social media gig where I’m required to write several posts everyday. The scheduling aspect will really come in handy for me as there are days in which I won’t be able to post.

  17. I was going to ask you, Gail, if the scheduler can be used in a group as I have a group page I post to quite often. I’ve watched the video and that’s answered my question, which is an unfortunate no. Do you know why it doesn’t work with group pages? I mean, I’m thinking there can’t be that big a difference between a group page and a fan page, can there?

  18. no not as yet but I hear there are changes coming for groups :-)

  19. I was suggested this website by my cousin. I am not sure whether this post
is written by him as no one else know such detailed about my problem.
    You are wonderful! Thanks!

  20. I like the helpful info you provide in your articles.
I’ll bookmark your weblog and check again here regularly. I am quite sure I’ll learn
a lot of new stuff right here! Best of luck for the next!

  21. Cool blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?

A design like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog stand out.
Please let me know where you got your theme.
