7 Ways to Make Money Without Winning The Lottery

I have said it over and over again the opportunities we have to make money today are huge. In this post I am going to refer to a webinar I am having this week called 7 ways you can make money without winning the lottery. (replay)

Some of the ways are looking at you they are right there under your nose as we say in our country. If they were any plainer you may still miss them. When I think about the opportunities that we have out there I think of the story I have read and re-read called “Acres Of Diamonds” It is one of my favorite stories.

It is a wonderful story, both sad and happy. Sad because the person in the story went to great lengths to find something that was already right under his nose. Happy because we can learn from this and not go through what he went through, and come to end of life with nothing.

*Gifts

*Knowledge

Every one of the above will make us money in some form or other. Some of you already exchange your time for money in a job. So you earn from your time.

Some of you are very talented and you exchange your talents for money.

Some of you have worked out how to get your money to work for you so you exchange your money to make more money.

Some of you offer your help to others in lots of different ways outside of work and you get paid for that.

Some may well be gifted in an area so you are rewarded financially for your gifts, sometimes that can come under talents.

The there are some of you who have incredible knowledge that some are prepared to pay for.  So you exchange your knowledge for money.

Everyone of you will fit in there somewhere.

Let me tell you a story…..

A number of years ago, about 25 or so, my parents left New Zealand to go to Australia, my dad a photographer, felt that there was more opportunity there. Infact his words were “Gail the grass is greener there” so they sold everything and off they went. Dad did photography at horse shows all round Victoria, he loved it infact they both did. They loved the travel etc. Things went very well, New Zealand was going through hard time as a country and Australia had not gone through it… as yet.

Then after a couple of years the work started to dry up, things got tough and then Dad was making almost no sales. The grass was not so green anymore. But back here in New Zealand we were pulling out of the tough times and grass was very green here. Dad could not afford to come back here to New Zealand, the money was gone. There they stayed and lived a very frugal life with the help of my sister and husband. It was sad, and reminds me of the “Acres of Diamonds” Story.

My belief was that he should have stayed here as I believed his Acres of Diamonds was here in NZ after years and years of building himself and brand up…. but we will never know for sure… and as we know hind site is a good teacher

All Things Internet Radio Show

I was approached and asked why I had not done a Radio Show. I guess I had never thought about it really. Then the local radio station got in touch and jumped at the idea of both myself and Gary hosting a radio show every week call “All Things Internet”  I am so glad Gary is there as it really is lots of things to do to make the show All things Internet really tick along. Buttons to push, all over the place, music to find and then topics to cover every week. Now that has been abit difficult as I am used to being able to show people what I am talking about while doing a webinar but this is all so different.

So we have 6 months of radio shows ahead and really once I get to the studio it’s a whole lot of fun.

Here is why I went ahead and did the whole Radio show broadcast.

Think about it, 6 months at 30 minutes a time. That is a whole lot of programs and a whole lot of data that I can now take and produce into all sorts of great products. I have enough information here to put into a membership site, e-books, MP3′s and also into Video. Let alone what it does for my credibility. 6 months is a long time to run a radio show for someone who has never done this before. Roughly that’s around 24 different products that I will produce through the program.

Plus I also get to go on some of the other radio programs as well to share on there.

Why am I sharing this with you well… easy, because local radio stations are always looking for great radio hosts, topics and subjects to be talked about by normal people. I am sure that you could be one of those people, as I am also sure you know something about a niche your into that needs to be shared.

Take that information and share it on the local radio station, get your following, then also take all your broadcasts and turn them into a product of some sort that could be sold or given away in exchange for name and email. There are many options…. Good news is you don’t have to do all this yourself. There are outsources that will do transcribing, that will take your MP3′s and turn them into videos, build you a website or membership site. You do what you are good at then ask someone either on www.Elance.com to help you out with the rest.

I know I have written before about Affiliate marketing, but this time I want to tell you about The Best Affiliate  Marketing Program that I have seen.

What is Affiliate Marketing? It is when you sell something, or service on behalf of someone else and they pay you for doing so. Clickbank is one of the biggest places one would go to if you wanted to sell e-books or Video Training, when you sell one of the products there, the owner will pay you a % of the income, that could be anything from $5 to $100 you just check it out and decide if it is worth you doing or not, and how much you want to earn. Ok, now tht we have that out of the way

With this Affiliate Marketing Company you are not actually selling anything which is great, you are performing a service for them by driving traffic to their main website. It is so easy and if you do that everyday then you will get paid. Now does it sound too good to be true, well maybe. However before you right it off take a look at it. ..

I want to see everyone have extra income and as we know it’s a great idea to have multiple streams of income.

Will it suit everyone, probably not, I don’t know why everyone isn’t doing it but some people like to sit back and procrastinate and do nothing and wait till it’s all too late and the opportunity has way gone and passed you buy. Guess you would never have heard of this program yet… I just bought it actually and I am so impressed with it… at $4.97 it won’t break the bank …

It is actually true!  It took no time at all to install after I downloaded it; I had a quick check on how to set it up and was up and going in less than 5 minutes.

What it does:  it populates your website with at least 3 new products at a time – they say there is more to come… so you set it up by putting in your affiliate ID and then it goes to work via an RSS feed into 3 different companies (currently) selling different products…

Now here’s more good news about it…

When installing the software and getting it all organised you put your paypal details in, so when anybody buys anything off your link you get paid the whole amount… so that has to be good….

WordPress Plugin

Those of you who know me know I love WordPress Plugins, they make life easy, they make your websites stand out, they are so easy to put SEO into and onto, that I wonder why everyone is not using WordPress.

If you want to set up a site that is set and forget then I guess this software is the answer. Everything comes in neat and tidy – you don’t need to do anything to the posts. I have added pictures but other than that nothing much else… and every other day depending on how you have the software setup, you will want to send it out to search engines, maybe even have some of your own articles on the site – the choice is yours. It’s a great software to run on review sites… I love it, and will set it up on two of my sites: Gail BottomleyLive Online and another I am about to setup that runs specials on it – be perfect for that. More on that another day…

I will have a video up in the next day or so, then you won’t have to read the instructions. It is very good software, a very good plugin for your WordPress Site and it gets the thumbs up from me.

The other great thing is it comes with a link into your Twitter account so click the button and it will send it out to there as well as soon as the post is up and on automatic.
