Build A Website in 20 Minutes

Build A Website in 20 Minutes

Well is it really possible I hear you ask?

Answer yes it is, if you follow the simple system I show you on this video. Of course, I took longer than 20 minutes on the video, took 40 and then of course I didn’t finish it, but really if I was just building, and not showing, I could easily build one from go to finish.

If you watch the video through you will see that if you follow the basic steps, you can build very fast, which means you can get multiple sites built for yourself as affiliate sites using Clickbank or you can build sites for small businesses in your area or further afield.

This is but the beginning what I show you here…. you can go on and build a magnificent site that you will be proud of and not only that, if you build for small business then you can hand it over to them, knowing that they can carry on updating and maintaining it themselves, as it is a very easy thing to do.

Build A Website in 20 Minutes

I run Workshops across the world showing people this very simple process: Get A Website In A Day. It’s a full-on weekend actually, where everyone brings their own laptop and together we get a website up online… then we send it out to the Search Engines and then learn how to drive traffic from both Twitter, Facebook and all the other Social Media sites.

This is called 7 Tools to Success where I teach the 7 tools that work for me and many of my students on a daily basis. I know there are masses of information out there in Cyberland; I also know it can take alot of time to find exactly what you need to know, so that’s why I put this video together for you :-)

Build a Website in 20 minutes

As you will see on the video I built the site quickly and I added on some other people’s info from E-zine articles. I can hear you all ask now, should we be doing that, what about copywrite… and what about Duplicate Content…. another great question… So Let’s answer both…

Copywrited ( is that a word) Content…

Well, firstly I am an author in Ezine articles and the best thing about it all is the fact that people can take my article and then use it either in their blog post or in their newsletter… as long as they take MY url link and details with it. You will see in the video that when I go to Ezine Articles, I make sure that I take the person’s details at the bottom and I also do not put any links into their article of my own as that would be wrong. You can’t do that and that’s the agreement. Sure you didn’t sign it, however I am a big believer in what goes round comes round :-) so I play by the rules, same applies on the Youtube videos you bring in as well… so follow the rules and all will be well…

Duplicate Content…

There is no issue with duplicate content at all. Google only sees a duplicate on your own site. So while I showed you how to bring in articles manually, you have to be careful not to bring in the same article more than once, so there goes one of the best arguments for using the Auto Posters. They have some special code that checks articles as they come in. The other great thing about the auto posters is they will bring in all the relevant information as well, lsuch as, the author’s details and the tags and whatever else you setup. So it really is set and forget. I love the Auto posters -  they make life a whole lot easier.

So go ahead, and if you haven’t already, go build your first site and then send me the link so I can check it out….

Watch it and let me know your thoughts on it, and if it has helped you…

    Hi Gail,

Great video thanks. I found so much more clarity with some of the topics in here compared to the first “build a website in 20 minutes” video. I now have a lot more understanding of how to organise categories and tags which were a problem for me until watching this video.

The one thing that really was new to me was the section on Pinging. I have pinged my site manually when I first set it up but that was it. How do I get the “Ping Page” and “Pinging Tool” for the Update Services section?

    Thanks again

    Shaun

    Hi Shaun,
thats fantastic, always something more to learn..
I will send you the pinging list through facebook, and also the plugin…

    Hi Gail,

thank you for creating this video. Good content.

1 thing I noticed is when viewing the video, that the edges were cut off which means I could not see your left menu. I guess this could be a setting in the webpage.

    thanks
    Al

  4. Fred Gillen says:

    Hi Gail,

Love you work, it seems that a lot of the actions you are taking are off the screen and so are hard to follow. The actual topic and the way you explain it make it simple to understand.

Look forward to your next one.

    Hi Gail

WordPress looks fantastic. It looks a lot easier and a much better way than what we used on the earlier courses. There is a lot to set up…. it sure has come a long way from creating websites in the late 90′s. Seeing this gets me realising so many possibilies. Thanks for this email and video. Look forward to seeing you in Sydney soon. Kind Regards, Myra.

  6. John Harmer says:

    Hi Gail

I loved your video. I attended your workshop in Melbourne a couple of months ago so I have a good idea of what to do. But the pinging section was new to me. That was very interesting.

If I can be a little constructively picky, might I suggest that you move your camera over to the left at some time. So newbie and visitor viewers can see what you are talking about when you speak of going to Appearance, Writing, Settings, Themes, Posts, Pages etc. We had to guess (I knew, but newbies and visitors might not) what you were talking about in this video. It was off-screen.

    Cheers

    John

  7. admin says:

    Hi Fred,
did you press the button to watch it in full screen, it is better in full screen there is a little TV icon in bottom right hand corner so click on that and you will see it in full screen :-) thank you for leaving a message.

Hi Gail, phew,no wonder that porche goes fast.

    Hi Gail
Looking forward to this weekend :} )
I have just discovered a HEAP of emails in another gmail folder, but unfortunately I don’t use this address any longer, and we have missed all your valuable training sessions – What a blow.
As I go thru them and see all we have missed I am devastated. Never mind, am sure I can find that you have recorded some that I can download.
    Till Saturday
Cheers to you Tui & Cara

  18. Julia says:

Hi Gail, what a great little video! Very clear instructions and just the motivation I need to renovate my sites, I can see they need a bit of work. Have not got into Pinging yet!

What can I say? Fantastic content. I am so much more enlightened now.
Have a check list drawn up, understand what is where- love being able to make own ads- hyperlinks were such a mystery.
The Pinging list looked great – Can i have a copy? Also, I need to request a download for plugins etc as I try to catch up with all i have missed.
Warmth & Smile to you both

  22. Ian says:

    Hi Gail

You had an incredible sneaky workshop in Perth in June, sorry I missed it. Will you be putting the 2 day event on DVD or online.

    regards

    Ian

  23. Colin says:

Thanks Gail. That is great video. It gave me a good review for things learning from workshop. Also it is easy for me to come back again and again to watch the video if I need. I have already seen the power of things you taught. Thanks!

  24. Thanks, Gail. Great value for everyone as usual! Like others above, the part on pinging was new to me. I managed to get the list of URLs from a screen dump, but would you give more information about where we can get the pinging plugin, also the privacy & terms plugin.

I’ve just purchased & installed the WP-footer plugin on this new site I set up as I followed your video; thought I’d mention that when I try to look at the “sample html code to begin” (bottom of Set 1), I’m getting a 404 error.

    Thanks again
    Trish

  25. Tony says:

    Hi Gail,
Great concise no hype video, as usual. I’ll ask about pinging on your next webinar. I have to say as a student how refreshing it is that everything you send me is usefull and very informative. Thanks for not DROWNING me in BS as others do!

Only question which plugins do we need to upload to make the Pinging work correctly…you never went back to that bit. I have a blank section in my notebook for that info.
    thank you so much
    Leonie

  32. admin says:

You need the pinging plugin and the pinging list which you can get from me and also you need to get them through skype. So when you get on skype let me know and I will get them through to you
